At Breakthrough Corporate Training, we’re fortunate to work with organisations that care deeply about people—and our recent collaboration with the NSW Government was no exception.

Over the past few months, we had the privilege of delivering multiple cohorts of our Emotionally Intelligent Leadership training to a passionate and committed group of leaders across their departments.

From the very first session, the energy in the room was unmistakable. These leaders showed up ready to learn, reflect, and engage. They explored how to lead with emotional awareness, discovered more about their own DISC personality profiles, and leaned into the hands-on parts of the workshop—including the board-breaking activity, a moment that represents personal breakthrough, courage, and focus.

But what stuck with us most came after the sessions wrapped.

Tanja, one of the standout team leaders, surprised us with a hilarious and heartfelt highlight video capturing her cohort’s experience. It wasn’t polished—and that’s what made it perfect. There were 25 takes. Plenty of laughter. And an unmistakable sense of camaraderie.
